Taylor caught Kawasaki's disease in August 2000.  She was 2 and a half years old.  The doctors thought it may be Stevens-Johnsons  because her lab work was opposite of normal Kawasaki's disease.

 

Here is a collection of photos showing the progression of this illness.

 

  The first day Taylor woke up moaning and crying owie, owie and then two minutes later vomitted.  She continued to vomit about every hour all day and through the night.  She maintained high temperatures. 

The second day she was taken to the doctor after little spots were noticed on her body.  Mom thought it may be  chicken pox and wanted her well for the arrival of the new baby.

Her palms of her hands turned bright red.
Her eyes, nose and mouth turned bright red also.
The rash continued to grow and take different shapes by the hour.  From dots, to circles...
